Captain Scarlet - 3D Tabletop Photography using Webcam and RPi |

---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons, a UK science fiction series from 1967, written by Gerry Anderson, was filmed using a form of electronic marionette puppetry dubbed Supermarionation combined with scale model special effects sequences. The programme was broadcast in 25-minute episodes. I use merchandising stuff like vehicles and puppets to reconstruct scenes from the story. Captain Scarlet figures are well suited for tabletop photography in 3D. It is not my aim to tell the stories again. Enjoy the stereoscopic pictures. | ||||||
